The deceased was 45 years of age, and leaves a family of six children. The doctor was well known in De Soto parish, having practiced his profession at Logansport for a number of years. On account of failing health, he moved back to his old home in Webster parish. The direct cause of his death was influenza. Peace to his ashes.
