MORMENA
Sgt. Joe Mormena, USA (ret.), 607 Mason St., born in Italy, Feb. 15, 1896, passed away Wednesday, July 29, 1970, in a local hospital at the age of 74 years. Requiem Mass will be offered Monday, Aug. 3rd, in Dodd Field Chapel at 9 AM. Interment will be in Ft. Sam Houston Natl. Cemetery with full military honors. Survivors: Wife, Mrs. Bertha Mormena; daughter, Mrs. John S. (Rose) Cullen, Tucson, Arizona; 2 grandsons, several nieces and nephews. Sgt. Mormena is a member of The American Legion, Alamo Post No. 2 and has been a resident of San Antonio for the past 25 yrs. Services under the direction of The Cude Family Alamo Funeral Home 225-5731

Requiem Mass will be offered at 9 a.m. Monday in Fort Sam Houston's National Cemetery for Sgt. Joe Mormena, 74, USA, ret., of 607 Mason St. Burial, under the direction of Alamo Funeral Home, will be in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
Mormena, who died Wednesday, is survived by his wife, Mrs. Bertha Mormena, one daughter and two grandsons.
