Mrs. Brothers Rites October 18
Funeral services for Mrs. J.B. Brothers were held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 18, in the Church of Christ with Paul Epps, Minister, officiating.
Mrs. Brothers died at 3:35 a.m. October 17 in the Seymour Hospital after a lengthy illness.
Pallbearers were nephews, Lonnie Gross of Andrews, Robert Nix of Munday, Eidsel Brothers of Fort Worth, Charles Beaver of Wichita Falls, Robert Brothers and Loyd King of Seymour.
Burial was in Riverview Cemetery under the direction of Elliston - Archer Funeral Home.
Sadie Ethel Beaver was born to Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Beaver April 22, 1892 in Erath County. She became a member of the Church of Christ at an early age. The Beaver family came to Baylor County in 1905. She married John B. Brothers, who died in 1965, April 22, 1915. To this union was born three sons, J.W. (Jake) of Wichita Falls, Orval of Seymour, Weldon who died in the Philippine Islands in 1969, Two daughters, Delta Mae and Pauline of Seymour.
Also surviving are a brother Sam Beaer of Seymour, Two sisters Mrs. Ada Brothers of Wichita Falls and Mrs. Ida King of Texas City, Two grandchildren also survive - Deborah Cox of Paris, Texas and Eugene of San Angelo.
Many pleasant memories are left behind by the life and example she lived. She lived for God, the Church, her family and friends.
