    Buster Bryant

    Buster Bryant, 76, of San Angelo went to be with The Lord on Friday, July 27, 2007 in San Angelo.

    Funeral Services will be 12:00 P.M., Monday July 30, 2007 at JohnsonĘs Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Leland Lewis and Rev. Floyd Jennings officiating. There will be a visitation from 7:00 P.M. ū 9:00 P.M., Monday, July 30, 2007 at Martinez- Smith Funeral Home in Monahans, TX. The Graveside service will be 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, July 31, 2007 at Monahans Cemetery in Monahans, TX.

    Buster was co-owner of DocĘs Reverse Units, Inc., A&B Oil Company, Westar Autoplex, LLC., and RockinĘ LB Ranch. Buster was born November 16, 1930 in Seymour, TX to Ernest and Flossie King Bryant. He began supporting himself at age 13 by working in the oilfield and with only a seventh grade education, he became a successful businessman. He married Darla Bean on February 8, 1949 in Seagraves, TX and they shared 58 beautiful years of marriage together. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church in San Angelo and was a lifetime member of the Masonic Lodge. Buster was also a member of the Lions Club. Buster loved people and he loved telling stories. After living in Monahans for forty years he retired in 1995 and moved to San Angelo to be near his doctors. He loved farming and ranching and was an avid reader and loved history.

    Buster was preceded in death by his parents and one sister Glennis Spruell and one brother, Wayne Bryant.

    He is survived by his loving family: Wife: Darla Bryant, of San Angelo; Son and daughter-in-law: Larry "Bear" and Peggy Bryant, of Monahans; Daughter and Son-in-law: Geretha and Chuck Prather, of Monahans; Grandchildren: Michelle Widdess and her husband Mike, of San Angelo, Chasity Pritz and her husband Robert, of Clyde, TX, and Josh Bryant, of Equitorial Guiena, Africa and Beth Bryant, of Louisville, KY; Great Grandchildren: Kelcee and Shaylee Widdess, of San Angelo and Abby and Kirkland Pritz, of Clyde, TX; one Brother and Sister-in-law: Dan and Elaine Snodgrass, of Oklahoma City, OK; one Sister and Brother-in-law: Polly And Connie Bean, of Monahans; and numerous nieces and nephews and other family members.

    The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks and appreciation for the staff at Hospice of San Angelo but especially to their special friend and caregiver Maria Rivera.

    MONAHANS - Darla Dean Bryant, age 81, of San Angelo (formerly of Monahans) passed away Friday, October 3, 2014 in San Angelo.

    She was born September 29, 1933 in Comanche, Texas to William Osier and Laura Mae (Patton) Bean.

    She married Buster Bryant on February 8, 1949 in Seagraves, Texas. She was a partner at Doc Reverse and Westar Autoplex.

    Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at Harkey Funeral Home chapel with Reverend Mark Bristow officiating.

    Burial will follow at Monahans Memorial Cemetery. A visitation will be held Monday, October 6, 2014 from 7-9 p.m. at Harkey Funeral Home.

    Services are under the direction of Harkey Funeral Home.

    She is survived by her son, Larry "Bear" Bryant and wife Peggy of Monahans; daughter, Geretha Prather and husband Chuck of San Angelo; sisterinlaw, Polly Bean of Monahans; grandchildren, Josh Bryant, Beth Klasskin and husband Steve, Michelle Widdess and husband Mike, and Chasity Pritz and husband Robert; and greatgrandchildren, Kelcee, Shaylee, Abby, Kirkland, and Jace.

    She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Laura Bean; and her husband, Buster Bryant.

    Ernest B. Bryant, 73, of Andrews died Wednesday May 19, 1982 at Permian General Hospital in Andrews, Texas.

    He was born June 27,1908, in Seymour and had lived in Andrews for 34 years, moving there from Seagraves. He was a member of Moose Lodge and Eagles Lodge. He married Una Wilson on June 12, 1980 in Andrews.

    Survivors other than his wife include one son, Buster Bryant of Monahans; one step­son, R.C. Houtchens of Midland; one daughter, Polly Griggs of Lubbock; one step-daughter, Betty Ivey of Burkburnett; two sisters, Flora Stergin of Seymour and Etter High of Seagraves; two brothers, Ed­ward Bryant of Kingsland and Joel Bryant of Texas City; 17 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

    LORENZO - Services for Flossie Mae Snodgrass, 76, of Lorenzo are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday at Lorenzo Church of Christ.

    Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park.

    Mrs. Snodgrass died Saturday at Methodist Hospital after a short illness. She was born Dec. 15, 1912, in Seymour. She married Everett H. Snodgrass June 16, 1944, in Abernathy. He died Sept. 17, 1983.

    Mrs. Snodgrass had lived in Lorenzo for seven years comming from Monahans. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

    Survivors include two daughters, Glennia Spriull and Pollie Griggs, both of Lubbock; two sons, B.L. "Buster" Bryant of Monahans and Dan Snodgrass of Edmond, Okla.; seven sisters, Mary Blackmon of Monahans, Lorene Currie of Ranger, Lola Shrum of Seminole, June Kindler and Nadine Allen, both of Wilcox, Ariz., Jean Reed of Olney and Ernestine Briley of Wynnewood, Okla.; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

    Resthaven Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
