Obituary:

Jimmy George Vanover, age 75, of Odessa, TX passed from this life on Wednesday, January 24, 2018. He was born in Borger, TX on February 22, 1942 to the late George and Lucille Vanover. Jimmy was an avid golfer.

Those left to cherish his love and memories are his beloved wife: Patricia Vanover; daughter: Belle McCallum Fletcher; grandchildren: Carol Jean Collins, Lauren Viscaino and husband Jacob, Ashton McKinney and Trina McCallum and great-grandchildren: Maeson Viscaino, Skyelyn Cooper, Aylea Eades and Lila Pughman; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son: Jimmy George Vanover Jr.; brother: "Pickle" Vanover and grandchild: DJ.

Family visitation will be held from 5-7:00 pm, Thursday, January 25, 2018 at Acres West Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, January 26, 2018 at Acres West Funeral Chapel officiated by Pastor Jackie Brem. Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel.
