    Richard Webster Leche, Jr. of Covington, LA passed away on Saturday, November 28, 2020. He was born on September 29, 1929, in New Orleans, LA to Richard Webster Leche, Sr. (a former Governor of Louisiana), and Elton (Reynolds) Leche.

    Richard is survived by his daughter Laura Leche Bailey and his brother, Charles Eustace Leche. Richard is preceded in death by his beloved wife Mary Ann Crnkovic Leche and his parents.

    Richard attended Covington High School, where he became president of the class of 1946, the first class to graduate from the newly-named school. He enrolled in the University of the South at Sewanee. After three years at Sewanee he enlisted in the United States Air Force, wherein he served for two years during the Korean War. Upon return to Louisiana, he enrolled at LSU. There he continued his studies and was a member of the Kappa Sigma fraternity. He graduated from LSU in 1954 with a BA degree in political science.

    After college, and with a love for travel, he went to work in the airline industry, being employed successively with Eastern, Pan-American and Delta. This career took him from New Orleans to Houston, Miami, Washington DC and Atlanta. Retirement came in 2004.

    Richard survived, though with severe injuries, an automobile accident in 2008. After partial rehabilitation, he resided at Christwood (Covington, LA) until his death.

    Due to COVID-19 guidelines, social distancing is encouraged and masks are required to attend services.

    Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W 21st Ave, Covington, LA 70433 on Sunday, December 6, 2020 at 2:00 PM with visitation on Sunday beginning at 12:30 PM. Interment will follow the services in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens, Covington, LA, adjacent to the funeral home.     COVINGTON - Mary Ann Crnkovic Leche, 67, died Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2004, at Alamance Regional Medical Center, Burlington, N.C.

    She was a native of Many and a resident of Sharpsburg, Ga.

    She was the wife of Richard W. Leche Jr. and mother of Laura Leche. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rudolph Crnkovic and Ethel Lovelady Crnkovic.

    Graveside services were held Saturday in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens. E.J. Fielding Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

    LEESVILLE - Services for Rudolph Crnkovic of Leesville will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the chapel of Hixson with a military chaplain officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.

    Crnkovic, 70, died at 9 p.m. Tuesday in St. Frances Cabrini Hospital, Alexandria.

    Crnkovic was a retired U.S. Air Force staff sergeant and a veteran of World War II.

    Survivors include his wife, Ethel L. Crnkovic of Leesville; one daughter, Mary Ann Leche of Houston; six brothers, Tony Crnkovic of Birmingham, Ala., Angel Crnkovic of Oak Grove, Charlie Crnkovic, Joe Crnkovic, and Alfred Crnkovic, all of Zwolle, and William Crnkovic of Caldwell, Texas; one sister, Antonia Ozbolt of Birmingham, Ala.; and one granddaughter.

    Graveside services for Ethel Lovelady Crnkovic were held at 3 p.m., Thursday, July 1, 1993, in the Forest Lawn Cemetery, under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home of Leesville.

    Mrs. Crnkovic, 83, of Lorton, Va., a former resident of Leesville, passed away June 29, in the Sunrise Retirement Home in Lorton, Va. She was a native of Louisiana, and had taught school for Vernon and Sabine Parish School Boards.

    She is survived by one daughter, Mary Ann Leche of Woodridge, Va.; one sister, Ada Rogers of Many; two brothers, Cecil Lovelady, and Edward Lovelady, both of Many; and one granddaughter, Laura Leche.

    Funeral services for B. L. Crnkovic, 78, who passed away Friday, Jan. 6, were conducted at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Zwolle, at 1 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 8, with Rev. Father Robert C. Friend officiating. Interment was in St. Joseph Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Funeral Home.
