    Funeral services for Joshua Howard Holesapple, 32, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 27, 2013, at the Pomona Christian Church, 5040 County Road 1390, Pomona, Mo., with Marcus Allen, Chad Talbot and Jeremiah Woodring officiating, under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc., West Plains.

    He was born the son of loving parents, John and Patsy Ward Holesapple, on Dec. 17, 1980, in Salem, Arkansas, and went home to be with his King on April 22, 2013.

    He was united in marriage Dec. 31, 1998 in Thayer, Mo., to the love of his life, Laurie Hatterman.

    He is survived by his wife, Laurie Hatterman Holesapple, of the home, West Plains; his parents, John and Patsy Ward Holesapple, Koshkonong, Mo.; two sisters, Sherry Daugherty, husband, Arthur, state of Texas, and Mary Beth Palmer, husband, Matt, Koshkonong; two brothers, Johnny Holesapple and wife, Marie, Koshkonong; Missouri, and Michael Holesapple, wife, Leslie, Springfield, his in-laws, Dwight and Lyn Hatterman, Koshkonong; three daughters, Larissa, Allison, and Meagan Holesapple, West Plains; one sister-in-law, Joanie Hatterman, Joplin, Mo.; one brother-in-law, Dusty Hatterman, Thayer; and four nieces and five nephews.

    He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Floyd and Juanita Ward and Elmer and Lucille Holesapple, and a cousin, Adam Honeycutt.

    He was a member of the Pomona Christian Church, Pomona, Missouri. Joshua was a loving husband and father to his daddy's girls. He was a compassionate minister who made an impact on people's lives forever. He had a servant's heart whose life touched thousands of people. He was devoted to his music. Music wasn't just music to Josh. He strived to sing songs that had an outreach message to everyone. He was a son that made his parents proud.

    A special fund has been set up at the Great Southern Bank in West Plains for his daughters, Larissa, Allison, and Meagan Holesapple. Checks may be made payable to Laurie Holesapple, as the account has been set up in a special account for daddy's girls.

    Visitation will be held Friday, April 26, 2013 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Pomona Christian Church in Pomona, Mo.

    Burial will be in Wayside Cemetery, Howell County, Missouri, under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc., West Plains.
