    Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 11, 1995 at St. Joseph Church in Rayne for Leonard V. Hebert Jr., 79, who died Saturday, Sept. 9, 1995 at the Retirement Center in Baton Rouge.

    Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery in Lafayette.

    Survivors include: one son, Leonard V. Hebert III of Baton Rouge; three sisters: Beverly Johnson and Nettie Leger, both of Rayne; Mrs. B. I. Moody of Crowley; and one grand-daughter, Bridget Hebert of Baton Rouge.

    Gossen Funeral Home of Rayne is in charge of arrangements.

    Funeral services held here for Leonard V. Hebert Jr.

    Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 11, at St. Joseph Catholic Church for Leonard V. Hebert Jr., 79, who died Saturday, Sept. 9, 1995, at the Retirement Center in Baton Rouge.

    Interment was held in the Calvary Cemetery in Lafayette. Officiating for the services was Father Eugene Tremie.

    The organist was Jodi Bollich and accompanying her was the vocalist Willa Etta Servat. Among the selections of music performed were "Be Not Afraid," "On Eagles wings," "How Great Thou Art" and "Panis Angelicus."

    Mr. Hebert is survived by a son, Leonard V. Hebert II of Baton Rouge; a daughter-in-law, Paulette Robert Hebert of Baton Rouge; three sisters, Mrs. Flemon H. Johnson and Mrs. Clyde H. Leger, both of Rayne, and Mrs. B.I. Moody of Crowley; and a granddaughter, Bridget Hebert of Baton Rouge.

    He was preceded in death by his wife, Billie Breaux Hebert; his parents, Mr. Valery Hebert and Mrs. Nettie Plattsmier Hebert; n and a brother, Winfred Hebert.

    Pallbearers were Bradley Quoyeser, Braxton Moody IV, Kevin Moody, Stephen Moody, Clyde J. Leger Jr., and Sam Robertson.

    A native of Rayne, Mr. Hebert was the former owner of a jewelry company here and, more recently, as employed by Quoyeser Printing Company of Lafayette.

    Mr. Hebert was a veteran of World War II having served with the United States Army Air Force in the Philippines.

    Gossen Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
