    Kimble Reed Walters was a native of Pelly, Texas and had lived in the Baytown area most of his life until moving to Dayton three years ago. He was a painter and owned Walters Coating in Baytown. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was known for his love of fishing and raising race horses. Walters loved helping people and enjoyed cooking for various people each day. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather who had a great sense of humor and loved practical jokes. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruby Foreman. Survivors include his wife and sweetheart, Peggy Joan McGinty Walters of Crosby; sons, Kimble Walters, Jr. and his wife, Mary Ann, of Dallas and John Curtis Walters and his wife, Debbie, of Moss Hill; daughters, Sherrie June Sewell and her husband, Pat, of Shreveport, Louisiana, Jannette Fay Goodson and her husband, Bill, of Baytown, Georgia Ann Alexander and her husband, Carlo, of Dayton, and Judy Ray Walters of Liberty; and 13 grandchildren.

    Kimble married Peggy Othel Baird 6 Feb 1958; divorced 7 Aug 1984, Baytown, Harris County, Texas, USA. Peggy (daughter of Wilbur Leslie Baird and Ruby Othel Carwile) was born 6 Mar 1931, McCamey, Upton County, Texas, USA; died 24 Feb 1999, Baytown, Harris County, Texas, USA. [Group Sheet]
