    Helen Fields Orren passed away peacefully, February 23,2023 in Odessa, TX, in the loving care of the people who loved her most.

    Helen was born October 6, 1936, to Francis and Mildred Eklins in Spur, TX. She moved to Odessa, TX in 1964. She married Clay Orren in March of 1981 in Odessa.

    Helen was a hairdresser for over 30 years and an active member and officer of the Eagles Lodge.

    Helen is preceded in death by her husband Clay Orren and her son Weldon Fields.

    She is survived by her sons and their wives, Brent and Cindy Fields, Dean and Karen Fields, Guy and Susan Fields, and Kelly Fields and JaDona Proffitt.

    She also has a multitude of grandkids, great grandkids, nieces and nephews.

    A Graveside Service will be at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

    ODESSA - Helen Fields Orren, 86, of Odessa, died Thursday, Feb. 23, 2023 in Odessa.

    Graveside service is scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Feb. 28, 2023 at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Reverend Clydel Chapman is officiating. Arrangements are by Sunset Memorial Gardens And Funeral Home of Odessa.

    OLNEY - Services for Francis Blanton Elkins, 67, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday at the First Baptist Church of Olney with the Rev. Dick Turner officiating.

    Burial will follow at Restland Cemetery in Olney.

    Mr. Elkins died Friday in Olney.

    He was born July 8, 1916, in Palo Pinto Co. He married Lula Doggett in 1955 in Lovington, N.M.

    Mr. Elkins was an Army veteran of World War II and the maintenance supervisor of the Olney Housing Authority.

    Survivors other than his wife include two daughters, Helen Orren of Odessa and Francis Green of Prescott, Ariz.; a brother, Tony Elkins of Spur; a sister, Minnie Brown of Olney; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

    Lunn Funeral Home of Olney is in charge of arrangements.

    PRESCOTT, Ariz. - Thadine M. Brammer, 79, of Prescott, Ariz., died Sunday, Aug. 30, 1998.

    Services were held Monday at Memory Chapel Mortuary. Arrangements by Memory Chapel Mortuary.

    She was born in Mae and moved to Arizona 42 years ago. She was a Women's Army Corps veteran of World War II. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

    SURVIVORS: Daughters, France Green of Chino Valley, Ariz., and Helen Orren of Odessa; sisters, Barbara Mazza of Las Vegas and Dorothy Williams of Yuma, Ariz.; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
