    Obituary:

Jerry Keith Gable was peacefully released from his earthly life, while in the arms of his children at Christus Good Shepherd Medical Center at 3:30 a.m., Monday, June 18, 2018 in Longview, Texas.

Our family graciously invites family, friends and loved ones of Jerry Gable to join us and celebrate his life and memories Saturday, June 23 at 6 pm.

We request that everyone please bring a copy of picture(s) with Jerry, and write your favorite memory of him to be collected for a scrapbook Saturday, June 23 6pm to 9pm, 602 North Lane Wells Drive
    Longview, Tx. 75604.

Born and raised in Longview, attending Longview ISD, he wreaked much havoc in his hometown, gaining a "diverse medley" of life long friends. Growing up as his dad's right hand in their local fish market business, he soon ventured into a variety of career paths, including welding, flooring installation, warehouse forklift operator, he most enjoyed working and cutting up alongside his buddies at CSI Inc. Pridefully becoming a father at age 17, he made being a protective and loving Daddy his passion. A simple man, working hard for his family, with rough hands that could fix anything, a bellowing deep voice that still echoes in our memories, and larger than life hugs, he was truly a great man. His hard headedness, light-heartedness and quick wit could always bring laughter, with a fair amount of sarcasm that could, at times, get under your skin. He didn't mind much, he was always ok with being the a**hole. No matter who walked through his front door, his arms and heart were always open, with no regrets, he loved all.

He chose to live his life to the fullest, keeping his declining health to himself until the final days. A special heartfelt appreciation is extended to the many loved ones that cared for him during this time.

Jerry was reunited with his parents Mr. and Mrs. Troy Gable, brother Joe Larry Gable, and nephew John Troy Gable. He will cherishingly be remembered by his family and loved ones; his loyal, former and only wife of 20 years Julie Dianne Lindell (Husband-in-law Randy Lindell), their devoted children Jessica Gable-Franke (Billy Franke), Joni Gable Green, Justin Gable (Alyssa Gable); adored grandchildren Jacob Beall, Jared Green (Savanah Green), Tobi Dillard, Julie Green, Larry Walters, Jace Green, Justin Gable Jr., and Jameson Gable; precious great granddaughters Ava Beall and Malorie Mendez. He will also be lovingly missed by his life-long best friend and sister Judy Leak (Jack Leak Sr.), and beloved nephews Jack Leak Jr. (Penny Leak), Joe Allen Gable and Jaysen Leak along with their children.

    We will have some refreshments.

Please RSVP with any food items you plan to bring directly to Joni to coordinate by Facebook messenger (Joni Denise) or by text to (405)-590-1350.

Viewing will be at 6 p.m. Saturday, 602 North Lane Wells Drive, Longview, Texas 75604.
