    Christopher Dean Estep, age 23, of Cicero, IN, died Thursday, May 26, 2016 at IU Health at Indianapolis, IN.

    He was born March 2, 1993 at Noblesville, IN to Jewelle Ann (Winders) Crawford and Jackie Richard Estep.

    Christopher was a volunteer at the Train Museum at Noblesville and had served as a conductor as well as helping with track maintenance.

    He was a huge Star Wars fan and had been named an Official Star Wars Family Member by Lucas Films. He also was an artist, mainly doing sketching and pen and ink drawings. Additionally, he was a writer. His writings included poems and novels, many depicting his health struggles, but usually with a comical or lighter touch. As many young folks do, he enjoyed video games.

    Survivors include his mother: Jewelle Ann Crawford of Cicero, IN, father: Jackie Richard Estep of Texas, brothers: Charles Estep, Alan Estep, and J.J. Estep, sisters: Shanalin Estep and Jenna Estep, grandparents: Russell and Loye Winders of Cicero, IN, Jackie Ray and Sharon Estep of Tennessee, as well as one niece and five nephews.

    Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at Hartley Funeral Homes Cicero Chapel, 209 West Jackson Street, Cicero, IN 46034, with Rev. Blake Watson officiating. Burial will follow at Cicero Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon until time of the services. Memorial contributions may be made to Hartley Funeral Homes to assist the family with expenses.     Russell Thomas Winders, age 81, of Cicero, IN passed away September 11, 2018 at IU Health Tipton Hospital.

    He was born August 8, 1937 near Arcadia, IN to Doyle Thomas and Nora Mae (Hawkins) Winders.

    He was a graduate of Walnut Grove High School with the Class of 1956. After graduation he soon became employed at Guide Lamp at Anderson, IN where he worked as an electrician for 42 years.

    He married Loye Jane (Watson) Winders on November 7, 1959. She preceded him in death October 24, 2016. In addition to his wife and parents he was preceded in death by two grandsons: Alan Estep and Christopher Estep.

    Russell enjoyed woodworking, carpentering, and attending auctions. His love of music would find him and his wife at the Hedgehog Music Center at Arcadia, IN on Saturday evenings. He also was a family man and loved and cared for his children and their families.

    Surviving him are two daughters: Jewell Crawford of Cicero, IN and Jennifer Clanin of Arcadia, in, 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

    Funeral services will be held Monday, September 17, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at Hartley Funeral Homes Cicero Chapel, 209 West Jackson Street, Cicero, IN 46034 with Rev. Neal Brown officiating.     Loye Jane Winders, age 76, of Cicero, IN passed away October 24, 2016 at her home surrounded by loved ones.

    She was born January 14, 1940 in Doddridge, Arkansas to John Charles and Hazel Doris (Waters) Watson. She moved to Indiana in 1945.

    She is a graduate of Westfield High School with the Class of 1958. Early years found her working at G.C. Murphy at Glendale. Loye married Russell Thomas Winders on November 7, 1959 and soon became and loved her role as full time homemaker. She was a charter member of Aromeg Extension Homemakers Club.

    Surviving her is her husband, Russell, daughters: Jewell A. Crawford of Cicero, IN and Jennifer M. Clanin of Cicero, IN, brothers: Charles David (Carolyn) Watson of Zionsville, IN, James Edward (Barbara) Watson of Fountaintown, IN, and John Charles (Char) Watson of Indianapolis, IN., six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Her family noted that she loved her family unconditionally, especially the grand and great-grandchildren.

    Her parents and a grandson, Christopher D. Estep preceded her in death.

    Funeral services will be held Friday, October 28, 2016 at 3:00 P.M. at Hartley Funeral Homes Cicero Chapel, 209 West Jackson Street, Cicero, IN with Pastor Neal Brown officiating.     Services Held

    ATLANTA - Claude Floice Bricker, 56, a brother of Mrs. Myrtle Smith of Kilgore, died Wednesday in an Atlanta hospital after a short illness. He was a merchant in Doddridge Ark.

    Funeral services were to be held in the Mount Zion Baptist Church in Doddridge today at 2 p.m. Burial will be under the direction of Smith Funeral Home. Other survivors are his widow, one daughter, one brother and two more sisters.

    Hazel "Dotte" Waters Watson, 92, of Westfield, passed away November 8, 2009. She was born June 18, 1917 in New Orleans, LA to Edgard D. and Lula (Bumgardener) Waters. Dotte was a homemaker and a member of Union Friends Church. Surviving are her somes, David (Carolyn) Watson, Jim (Barbara) Watson, and John C. (Charlotte) Watson; daughter, Loye (Russell) Winders; nephew, Joel (Deb); nine grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be at 1 a.m., Thursday, November 12 at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center-Hamilton Memorial Park. Calling will be at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m., Wednesday, November 11. Burial in Summit Lawn Cemetery.
