    Obituary:

    Funeral services for Fannie A. Drgac, 89, of Cooks Point, were held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 4, 1998, at Caldwell Brethren Church with Rev. Dan Husak and Rev. John Gant, Jr., officiating. Interment followed in the New Tabor Cemetery.

    Mrs. Drgac died on Monday, February 2, 1998, in Bryan.

    She was born on September 21, 1908, in Snook, the daughter of the late John and Emily Luksa. She was a lifelong resident of Burleson County. She attended Cooks Point School. She was a member of the Brethren Christian Sisters and SPJST Lodge #186.

    She was preceded in death by her husband, Edd Drgac; her parents; two brothers, Rudolph and Louis Luksa; and three sisters, Albina Hovorak, Olga Jez and Lottie Odstrcil.

    Survivors include one sister, Emily Pannen of Victoria; and numerous nieces and nephews.

    Serving as pallbearers were: Robert Odstrcil, Raymond Hovorak, Bill Singer, Aubrey Arnold, Ben Trcalek, and Alvin Bormann.
