Bonnie J. Bumgardner, 66, of 1719 Winston Drive, died Saturday. Born in Norphlet, Ark., she lived in Macon for the past 28 years and was a retired employee of the Bibb County school system. She was a member of Glenwood Hills Baptist Church, Merry Bible Class and the AARP Chapter No. 1884. She was the daughter of the late Susie Bradford Bottoms. Survivors: husband, Fred Bumgardner of Macon; children, Susan Merriman of Orlando, Fla., and Daniel Vance Bumgardner of Macon; father, Jesse Bottoms of Waldo, Ark.; brother, Jimmy Wayne Bottoms of Eldoroado, Ark.; and two grandchildren.
Services 2 p.m. Tuesday in Snow's Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue. Burial: Macon Memorial Park. Dr. Otis Andrews will officiate. Visitation: The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight in the funeral home. The fmaily may be contacted at the residence.
