    Obituary:

    Patricia Ann Tompkins, 73, of Caldwell left her earthly life on Sunday, February 23, 2014 and went to be with her Lord and Savior, who was her best friend, at her home near Caldwell. Services will be held at 10 am Friday, February 28 at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Caldwell with Rev. Frank Simcik officiating. Interment will follow in San Antonio Prairie Cemetery near Caldwell.

    Visitation will be from 6 pm until 8 pm Thursday, February 27 at the funeral home.

    Patricia was born October 24, 1940 in Dime Box, Texas to Carl Franklin Dube and Marie M. (Kissman) Dube. Her dad died when she was only one month old and she was blessed to have a new dad at age five, Wilson C. Bridges. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. She was raised in Dime Box and graduated from Dime Box High School. Patricia married Franklin J. Sebesta at the Caldwell Brethren Church on July 19, 1959. To this union was born two children, Stephen Sebesta and Sheryl Belloni. Franklin and Patricia were active members of Caldwell Brethren Church until his death on January 9, 2001.

    Patricia worked at Lone Star Gas Company, Caldwell Elementary School and retired from Caldwell Intermediate School with 30 years of service. She loved children and enjoyed her years working at Caldwell schools.

    Patricia was blessed with two dads and two husbands. On January 31, 2003 she Married Pastor Robert Tompkins of Somerville. She thanked God for him, was blessed by all she learned from his teaching and preaching and all the joy and love she received from the people at Community Chapel.

    She was preceded in death by her first husband, Franklin J. Sebesta, her dad Wilson C. Bridges, Her mother Marie Bridges; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Frank and Ella Sebesta, her brother and sister-in-law, Emmit and Jean Ross.

    Patricia is survived by her husband, Robert Tompkins, a son and daughter-in-law,Stephen and Melissa Sebesta of Austin; a daughter and son-in-law, Sheryl and Thomas Belloni; twin grandsons, Daniel and Jacob Belloni; a brother and sister-in-law Carl and Joyce Bridges of Brenham; a niece, Becky Devlin and husband, Gary and family and three nephews, Jeffrey Bridges, Douglas Ross and Mike Ross and family. She was also thankful for and loved Robert's children. they include Tammy and Vernon Peters, Michael and Cathey Tompkins and Danny and Stephanie Tompkins.

    Memorials in Patricia's memory may be made to Community Chapel in Somerville or the Caldwell Brethren Church.
