Obituary:

Frierson - Funeral services for Nell Alford Crnkovic, 79, of Frierson, LA, will be held on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at 2:00 PM at First Baptist Church of Many with Luke Pearson officiating. Burial will follow in the Ft. Jesup Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Wednesday, September 12, 2018, at 12:00 PM until service time at First Baptist Church of Many.

Nell Alford Crnkovic was born on Saturday, March 4, 1939 in Converse, LA. She passed away on Sunday, September 9, 2018 in Shreveport, LA. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Woodel and Mutsy and Vandy Pentecost; first husband, Brue Alford; and step-daughter, Kaye Fontenot.

She is survived by her husband, Pete Crnkovic of Frierson, LA; daughter, Dana Alford and husband Loren of Many, LA; son, Walker Alford and wife Carol of Shreveport, LA; step-children: Deborah Crnkovic of Bossier City, LA, Paul Crnkovic of New York, Jeff Crnkovic of Shreveport, LA, and Brian Crnkovic of Shreveport, LA; sister, Kayren Procell of Shreveport, LA; grandchildren: Colton Alford, Jace Alford, Jared Alford; Kalei Alford and Ross Alford; six great grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Sharon Flashey her beloved caregiver.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children in Shreveport, LA or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
