Obituary:

Frank William Clement 75, of Huffman, Texas passed away peacefully on Monday, October 17, 2022.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Qrline and Gaston Clement; stepfather VJ Spencer: and sisters Beatrice and Thelma Clement; brothers, Watts, Raymond and G.I. Clement.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Diana Clement; son Jared Clement; daughter Christie Clement; grandchildren Corey Clement and Violet Clement. Brother Alford Clement: as well as by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Frank was born on February 3, 1947 in Liberty, Texas. He graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in Baytown, Class of 1965. He grew up in Highlands Texas and he met the love of his life in Baytown, Texas. Frank married Diana Rosenbrook and they enjoyed 57 wonderful years together and were deeply in love throughout his life. Frank and Diana raised their grandson Corey Clement from a baby and Frank was a loving father to his amazing son. He worked for 34 years at Platzers Shipyard and had his own Construction business for 7 years. He was well liked and respected by his coworkers, as he was humble and always treated others fairly. Upon retirement, he pursued his passions of gardening, fishing and woodworking. He loved taking care of his family and lending a helping hand to anyone in need.

Honesty and integrity defined how he lived his entire life, truly to serve others. Frank was a friend to everyone he met. He will be dearly missed. Frank was best known for his gentle smile, loving spirit and peaceful personality. He liked being outside enjoying nature, mowing and tending to yard work. He also loved the many family vacations to a variety of places, especially Colorado, Wimberly Texas, Walt Disney World in Florida and Cancun Mexico with his wife and attending church with his family.

Frank will be dearly missed by all that loved him but can rest easy in knowing that his legacy of hard work, love of family and God, and love for his wife Diana will continue on endlessly.

A visitation will be held at Sterling White Funeral Home in Highlands, Texas on Saturday, October 22nd between 1 and 3pm. The funeral service will begin at 3pm.

Clement Rites Tomorrow

Gaston Clement, a 50 year old Humble employee, died at 7 a.m. today at his home in Highlands.

Funeral services will be at 4:30 p.m. tomorrow at the Paul U. Lee Funeral Home with Father Parmentier of St. Jude's Catholic Church officiating. Burial will be in White Cemetery near Highlands.

Clement is survived by his widow; one daughter, Mrs. Beatrice Perry of Cedar Bayou; five sons, Adam W., Raymond, Gaston, Jr., Olford, and Frank W. Clement, all of Highlands; and his mother, Mrs. Adam Clement of Rayne, Louisiana.

Other survivors are two sisters, Mrs. Angele Nunez of Port Arthur and Mrs. Bertha Herbert of Rayne; four brothers, Alce Clement of Stowell and Leo Clement and Louis Clement of Rayne; and three grandchildren.

Adam Clement Is Buried Here Thursday

Funeral services for Adam Clement who died at his home here Wednesday, November 28 at 3:45 P.M., were held Thursday, November 29, from the St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Interment followed in the adjoining Catholic cemetery, Wilbur Ardoin being in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Clement was a pioneer citizen of this section, having resided here all his life. He was 77 years of age at the time of his death. Several months ago, he suffered a serious accident in which he incurred a broken left leg. His age was a factor against his recovery and he passed away as a result of this accident.

He was well-known thruout his community, having resided here for such a long time. Funeral services were widely attended by the scores of friends and relatives of Mr. Clement.

He is survived by his widow, two daughters, Mrs. Ebrard Hebert of Abbeville and Mrs. Otis Nunez of Port Arthur; six sons: Alcee of Winnie, Tex.; Gaston of Highland, Tex.; Francois of Crowley; Leo, Beauregard and Louis, all of this city, and 30 grandchildren.

Rites Held Today In Rayne For Mrs. Adam Hebert

RAYNE, La. - Funeral services were to be conducted at 4 p.m today from the St. Joseph Catholic church in Rayne for Mrs. Adam Hebert, 87, who succumbed at her residence in Rayne at 5:30 p.m. Thursday following an illness of several years. Burial was to be in the St. Joseph cemetery.

Mrs. Hebert, the former Despalie Benoit, is survived by three sons, Leo, Beauregard, and Louis Clement, all of Rayne; two daughters, Mrs. Otis Nunez of Port Arthur, Texas, and Mrs. B. Hebert of Abbeville; a sister, Mrs. Ignace Dupont of Jennings and a brother, Albert Benoit, of New Iberia. Nineteen grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren also survive.

The Gossen Funeral Home of Rayne was in charge of arrangements.

RAYNE - Mrs. Adam Hebert, 87, nee Despalie Benoit, died at her home in Rayne on Thursday March 10, at 5:30 p.m. after an illness of two years.

Funeral services were held at the St. Joseph Catholic church at 4 p.m. Friday with interment in the church cemetery. Gossen Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include three sons, Leo, Beauregard, and Louis Clement of Rayne, two daughters, Mrs. Otis Nunez, Port Arthur Tex., Mrs. E.F. Hebert, Abbeville; one sister, Mrs. Ignace Dupont of Jennings; one brother, Albert Benoit of New Iberia, 19 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
