Obituary:
Darrel Boyd Rogers, 53, of College Station, passed away Saturday, May 26, 2012 in Temple. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, June 2, 2012 at Callaway-Jones Funeral Home in Bryan.
Darrel was born in Pasadena, Texas on June 26, 1958 and had been a lifelong resident of Bryan/College Station. He was an oil field truck driver and a member of First Baptist Church in Bryan.
Darrel was preceded in death by his father L. B. Rogers.
Survivors include his wife, Glenda Rogers; son, Zach Rogers; mother, Jean Funnell and husband John; brother, Russell "Rusty" Rogers and wife Helen Kay, all of Bryan; sister, Vicki Webb and husband Dana, of Midlothian, Texas; two nephews and one niece.
