    Dorothy Jean Warren, 84, born March 22, 1930 and went to be with the Lord on May 24, 2014.

    She is preceded in death by her husband David R. Warren and daughter Laura Ann Warren.

    She leaves behind to cherish her memories, sons: David Russell Warren Jr. of Manvel, TX, Jeff Warren and wife Toni of Manvel, TX, Jimmy Warren and wife Linda of Lynn Haven, FL, and Daniel Warren of Manvel, TX; daughters: Susan Warren Hardin and husband Tony of Dallas, TX, Sharon Eovaldi and husband James of Alvin, TX and Amy Warren Kelly and husband Ryan of Sugarland, TX; 21 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 2 on the way; sister Virginia Pressly of Houston, TX.

    A visitation will be held on Monday, May 26, 2014 from 5pm-8pm with a rosary to recite at 8pm in the chapel of Crowder Funeral Home in Pearland. Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at 10am at Queen of Angels, 4100 Highway 3 Dickinson, TX 77539. Interment to follow at Forest Park East Cemetery. Pallbearers: Matthew Warren, Joshua Kohler, John Warren, Jonathan Warren, Charles Plaster, Jeffery Warren and Ashley Warren.

    Obituary:

    J.D. Warren, age 37, of the Rock Prairie community, died Saturday afternoon at 4:30 o'clock after seventeen years of illness. Funeral services were held at 4:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon at Millican. He is survived by his wife and three children. Sanders-McCullough Company were in charge of the funeral arrangements. The sympathies of the Wellborn community are with the family.

    Funeral Service Held Sunday For Rock Prairie Man

    Funeral services were held at Sanders-McCullough Funeral home Sunday afternoon at 4:30 o'clock for the late John Davis Warren, age 36 years, 7 months and 28 days, who died at his home on Route 3 in the Rock Prairie community Saturday afternoon at 4:15 o'clock, following a lingering illness. Rev. L. Whitehurst of Houston conducted the services at the funeral home and also at the grave in Millican cemetery.

    John Davis Warren enlisted in the United States Navy in 1920, and received honorable discharge from the service in 1921, with a disability, and has never been well since that time. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Inez Warren, one daughter, Aline, and two sons, Davis and Alton Warren. He is also survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Warren of Reliance community, one sister, Mrs. Bige Warren of Houston, and five brothers, Dean Warren of San Saba; Harland Warren, Reliance; Oatis Warren, Winters; Bailey Warren, Vernon, and Walter Warren of Houston.

    Pallbearers were: John German, W. D. Burkhalter, Otis Robertson, I. C. Burkhalter, Antone Rosprim and A. L. Simpson of Houston.

    Inez Warren, 79, of 505 N. Second Street in Temple and formerly of Bryan died in a Temple hospital Thursday.

    Inez Warren

    TEMPLE - Inez Warren, 79, of Temple died Thursday in a Temple hospital.

    Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan. The Rev. Hubert Willke, pastor of St. Patrick's Episcopal Church in Houston, will officiate. Burial will be in Wheat Cemetery in Millican.

    Mrs. Warren was born in Bryan and lived here intermittently throughout her life. Her father, Rufus German, was a member of one of the early families to settle in Brazos County. Mrs. Warren was retired after working as a nurse at Ben Taub Hospital in Houston.

    Survivors include two sons, David R. Warren of Manvel and Alton L. Warren of Sugarland; a daughter, Elaine Baker of Temple; 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
