John "Darrell" Conley Sr. (78) went to be with the Lord on September 4, 2018. He was born on November 10, 1939 in Burnet, Texas to Falvey and Glenn Conley. Darrell began preaching when he was 15 years old and preached for 62 years. Darrell was also passionate about learning and reading. He had a remarkable mind and was a great debater. In addition to his intellectual and spiritual pursuits he was also an accomplished magician belonging to the Order of Merlin as well as the International Brotherhood of Magicians. Darrell performed school shows, birthday celebrations, and adult parties as well. Darrell's legacy continues with the many lives he has touched. His influence has led his son, son in-law, and three grandsons and many other individuals to go on to preach the gospel of Christ. Darrell is survived by his wife, Judy, son, J. D. Conley (Denise) of Marietta, OH, Daughter Marietta Barcroft (Robert) of Fairview, WV, foster daughter, Sheila (Wade) Saragusa Kilpatrick and stepsons, Charles (Kathy) Spraggins of Jacksonville, FL and Mark (Kirsten) Spraggins of Atlanta, GA. 9 grandchildren, Shalyn, Shane, Jesse, Travis and Matthew Conley. Kenneth, Rebecca and Adam Barcroft, and Jude Spraggins along with several great-grandchildren. He did a great work in the Lord's church and will be greatly missed by his brethren in Christ. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:30 pm on Saturday September 8, 2018 with a visitation one hour prior at the funeral home. HARDAGE-GIDDENS RIVERSIDE MEMORIAL PARK and FUNERAL HOME 7242 Normandy Boulevard is serving the family.

LORETTA CROW CONLEY, born in Wichita Falls, TX died Wednesday, December 14, 1994. Mrs. Conley was a member of Northern Oaks Church of Christ, San Antonio. Survivors include husband of 36 1/2 years, Darrell Conley Sr., minister of Northern Oaks Church of Christ; mother Etta Crow, San Antonio; son and daughter-in-law, J.D. Conley Jr., minister of Spencer Church of Christ, Spencer, W.V., and his wife Denise; daughters, Marietta Barcroft and husband Robert, San Antonio and Shiela Mayabb and husband Shane, Kansas City, Missouri; 4 grandchildren, Kenny, Shalyn, Rebecca and Adam; 2 brothers, Max Crow, El Paso, TX and Gary Crow, Campbell, TX; several nices, nephews, and many friends. Funeral services Saturday, December 17, 1994 11:00 a.m. San Pedro Church of Christ. Graveside 3:00 p.m. at Frazier Cemetery, Burnet, TX.

J.T. CROW, 72, passed away Saturday, June 13, 1987, he was a resident of El Paso for 40 years and a member of the North Loop Church of Christ where he also served as an Elder for several years. He is survived by his wife Etta Belle Crow of El Paso, sons Max Crow of El Paso, Gary Crow of Campbell, TX; daughter Loretta Conley of San Antonio, TX; 9 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; sister Alva Files of Quincy, LA; and a brother Harry Crow of Locas Grove, OK. Funeral Service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday in the North Loop Church of Christ with Mr. Gene Reneau officiating. Interment in Evergreen East Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Calvin Cooper, Marion Thompson, Gary Nelson, John Griffith, Lowell Ragsdale, and Bill Engle. Arrangements by Kaster Maxon and Futrell.
