Obituary:

Kristin Leigh Coats, 21, of College Station, died June 12, 2011 as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. The visitation will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at Memorial Funeral Chapel in College Station. The funeral service is scheduled for 10:30 a.m., Thursday, June 16, 2011 at Memorial Funeral Chapel in College Station. Interment will follow at Peach Creek Cemetery.

Kristin was born April 5, 1990 in Bryan, the daughter of Kevin and Lori (Williams) Coats. She attended Milano and College Station schools and graduated from A & M Consolidated High School in 2008, where she was a member of the volleyball and the basketball teams. She was currently enrolled at the University of Houston.

Kristin was a long time student and teacher of MCM Dance Studios. She has worked as a wedding coordinator for the Astin Mansion for the past 3 years.

Kristin is survived by her parents, her sister and brother-in-law Blaine and Lauren (Fazzino) Ward, and her brother Eric Kane Coats. She also leaves her maternal grandmother, Kay Easterling, of Bryan; and her paternal grandparents, Alfred and Wanda Coats of Gause. She is also survived by her boyfriend, Wil Turner of Rockdale, many aunts, uncles and cousins and numerous friends.

Mark Williams, 56, of San Antonio, Texas died July 10, 2006. Visitation will be Friday, July 14 at 6:00 PM at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home in Marble Falls, TX. Funeral service will be Saturday, July 15 at 10:00 AM at Clements-Wilcox with Max Copeland officiating. Interment to follow at Lewis Cemetery in Spicewood, TX.

Born August 13, 1949 in Houston, TX, Mark was the son of Jim H. & Carrie (Hunt) Williams. He was the owner of Mark Williams Air Control Company.

Mark is survived by his daughters & sons-in-law Lori Ann & Kevin Coats of Gause, TX and Lisa & John Foster of Cedar Park, TX, father Jim Williams Jr. of Spicewood, TX, brothers Glenn Williams and Max Williams, both of Elmendorf, TX and sister Blanche Bale of Katy, TX. He is also survived by his grandchildren Lauren Fazzino, Kristin & Kane Coats, Connor & Andrew Foster, other relatives and close friends.

Obituary:

NAVASOTA - Services for Laura Greer Burkhalter, 95, of Millican are set for 11 a.m. Wednesday at Nobles Funeral Chapel in Navasota.

The Revs. O.L. Powell and Glenn Murphy of Greater Christian Life Church will officiate. Burial will be in Peach Creek Cemetery.

Mrs. Burkhalter died Sunday in Brazos County.

She was born in Peach Creek and was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Burkhalter.

Survivors include six daughters and five sons-in-law, Marie Fazzino of Millican, Kay and Bill Easterling of Bryan, Sarah and Bill McDaniels of Angleton, Vera and W.B. Carr of Willis, Billie Jo and Autrey Dixon of Navasota and Elaine and Clint Trncak of Tyler; two sons and daughters-in-law, Andy and Mary Fanette and Ben and Fleeta Fanette, all of Jacksonville; 14 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
