Obituary:

ANDREWS - Betty Gross, 73, of Andrews, a homemaker, died Thursday, Aug. 26, 2004, at her residence.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Second Baptist Church with the Rev. Ivy Shelton officiating. Burial will be at Andrews West Cemetery. Arrangements are by McNett Funeral Home.

She was born in Sherman. She was a Baptist.

SURVIVORS: Daughters, Claudia Helms and Geraldine "Gerri" Helms, both of Odessa, Wanda Edmiston of Eldorado and Diana Gross of San Angelo; sons, James W. Jones of Andrews and Marvin Jones of Henderson; brother, Roy Lee Turner of Pflugerville; 17 grandchildren; and 35 great-grandchildren.

Betty married William Jasper Gross 24 Jan 1955, Lovington, Lea County, New Mexico, USA. William (son of Buman Johnson Gross and Claudia Irene Bryant) was born 3 Mar 1923, Seymour, Baylor County, Texas, USA; died 19 Jan 1992, Odessa, Ector County, Texas, USA; was buried , Andrews County Cemetery - Andrews, Texas, USA.
