  Obituary: Lakewood Funeral Home was in charge of private services for Donald Lemings, 67, of Hughson. He died Monday, Feb. 23, 2004 at English Oaks Convalescent Hospital in Modesto. Born Sept. 29, 1936, Mr. Lemings was a native of California and lived in Hughson for five years and in Stanislaus County for 62 years. He was a line worker at Tri Valley Growers for seven years. Mr. Lemings enjoyed hunting and fishing. He leaves behind his caregiver and daughter-in-law, Sandra Lemings of Hughson; two children, Mike Lemings of Coulterville and Gary Lemings of Ceres; his brother, Ron Lemings of Modesto; three sisters, Lillia Hise of Waterford, and Darlene Wilson and Carol Dias, both of Modesto; and 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his son Randall D. Lemings. Remembrances may be sent to Community Hospice, 601 McHenry Ave., Modesto, CA 95350. (Published in The Ceres Courier on March 2, 2004)
