Pauline "Kinney" Lewis
April 17, 1921 - June 13, 2022
Pauline Lewis, 101 glorious years young, of Booker, TX, went to be with her Heavenly Father on June 13, 2022. She would like you to know her work here on Earth is finally done.
Pauline was born on April 17, 1921, in Seymour, TX, to Daniel and Myrtle Kinney. She was one of 7 siblings. She grew up working with her family on their farm in Rochester, Texas, which is where she must have gotten her hard-working characteristics from. She was a Godly woman, who cherished her family especially, but loved everyone as much as her Lord loved her. She was a long-time loyal member of the Church of God in Rochester.
Pauline will be fondly remembered as a precious, loving, God-fearing lady with an amazingly beautiful soul, loved by all that were blessed to know her. She set a wonderful example for her family and friends.
Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ellis Lewis, her daughters, Glora Fay and Darlene Carter, brothers, Daniel Kinney, Elvin Kinney, Lynn Kinney, and sisters, Margaret Dalton and Wanda Heath.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her daughter, Lou DeYoung and husband Ed of Booker, TX, grandchildren, Sonia Carter of Aspermont, TX, Tracy Carter and wife Paula of Knox City, TX, Chad Carter and wife Hanna of Forsan, TX, Monica Johnson and husband Doug of Ulysses, KS and Chris DeYoung of Alvord, TX. She also leaves behind 11 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren, 1 brother, Roy Kinney of Sunset, FL, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by all.
Graveside Service will be at the Rochester Cemetery on Friday, June 17, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes.
