  Obituary: Jess Hill Rites Today STAMFORD - Funeral for Jess Hill will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Orient St. Church of Christ with the minister, Dale Foster, officiating. Mr. Hill, 72, died Monday in Stamford Memorial Hospital. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Cemetery under direction of Kinney Funeral Home. He is survived by his wife: one son, Stanley of Quanah; one daughter, Mrs. Sue Dell West of 3920 Victoria, Abilene; one brother, Claude Hill of Stamford; five sisters, Mrs. Cora Schwartz and Mrs. M. E. Dodgin, both of Stamford, Mrs. Faye Sauls and Mrs. Eula Carter, both of Dallas, and Mrs. Viola Hill of Bellaire. (Published in The Abilene Reporter-News on June 22, 1965)
