    • Obituary:

      Otto Arthur (Art) Yelton, III, age 56, passed away suddenly on Sunday, December 4.

      Art loved music and spent his life as a musical director, conductor, musician, teacher, and friend. He graduated from Bellaire High School and the University of Houston. He worked in Houston, New York, Los Angeles, cruise ships in the Pacific and the Mediterranean and back to Houston. He has been a favorite teacher at Theatre Under the Stars Humphrey's School of Musical Theatre since returning to Houston. He has been Musical Director for many national tours as well as locally.

      He was preceded in death by his father, Otto, and is survived by his mother, Lee, and sisters, Kim and Tracy, and their families. A private Celebration of his Life will be held on Saturday. Donations may be made in Memory of Art Yelton to Legacy Clinic, www.legacycommunityhealth.org A public Celebration of his Life will be held at TUTS in January TBA.
