Texan's Body Found
HOUMA, La. (AP) - The body of a Beaumont man, Jerry Hatfield, was recovered yesterday in the intercoastal canal near here. Hatfield drowned Sunday night when he fell from a barge being towed by the tugboat Margaret.

Services Set For Victim Of Drowning
PORT ARTHUR (Sp) - Funeral, services for Jerry Hatfield, 21- year-old drowning victim, have been set for 9 a. m. Wednesday in St. James Catholic Church with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery.
OFFICIATING WILL be the Rev. Laurence Connelly, assistant pastor of St. James.
A deck hand for the Red River Lines. Mr. Hatfield drowned Sunday night when he fell from a barge being towed by the tugboat Margaret.
His body was recovered Mon- day in the Intracoastal Canal, A Rosary will be recited Tues day at 7 p. m. in Grammier Oberle Chanel.
A NATIVE of Port Arthur, he resided at 2820 Seventh St.
Surviving are his wife, a daughter, Catherine, sons, Terry and James, all of Port Arthur: parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Hatfield, Port Arthur and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert LeBlanc, Port Arthur.
Pallbearers will be H. H. Salter, F. E. Gardner, J. R. Hutson, C. B. Rogers, J. E. Bos and John Hada.
