  Obituary: Peggy Othel Walters of Mont Belvieu passed away Wednesday, February 24, 1999 in a local hospital. Born March 6, 1931, in McCaney, she had lived in Baytown for six years as a homemaker and active member of Baker Road Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, W.L. and Othel Baird. She is survived by son, John C and wife Debbie Walters of Mont Belvieu; daughters, Sherrie Bauman of Shreveport, La., Janette and Bill Goodson of Baytown, Georgia Alexander of Jamestown, R.I., and Judy Walters of Dayton; grandchildren, Erik Bauman, Tammy Bourque, Tanya Goodson, Crystal Goodson, Tommy Alexander, Jonathan Walters, Colt Woods, Brandon Cather and Josh Pate. The family would like to thank the members of Baker Road Baptist Church for sharing the Lord's love with her the last five years. The entire family was ministered to by the congregation and her pastor, Marvin Rose. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Growth Program of Baker Road Baptist Church. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 26, at Baker Road Baptist Church with Rev. Marvin Rose officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Navarre Funeral Home.
