Catherine Denise Kelly

Catherine Denise Kelly was born in Port Arthur, TX on August 25, 1959. Cathy entered Heaven's gates on October 17, 2018 after passing away unexpectedly of natural causes in her home, at the age of 59.
Cathy graduated from Aldine High school, class of 1978. After high school Cathy began working and met and married Howard Kelly in 1981. They resided together in Magnolia TX for 25 years, where they raised two daughters, Jessica and Jennifer. After marriage, Cathy worked as an executive secretary for a privately owned transportation company for 13 years. She then moved to the Oil and Gas industry where she worked for 22 years in various roles including Accounting and Human Resources. Cathy loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her two grandsons Alex and Ryan, who were her greatest joy.
Cathy is preceded in death by her father Jerry Hatfield, her mother Jane Catherine McClintock and her grandmother Grace Mabel Broussard.
She is survived in death by her daughters Jessica Jaramillo and husband Danny, Jennifer Sparks and husband Michael, and 2 grandsons Alex and Ryan Jaramillo; siblings Ralph Seifert and wife Mary, Jim Hatfield and wife Brenda, Terry Hatfield and Linda Glenewinkel; Uncle Adam (JuJu) Broussard and wife Fran and Aunt Grace Marie Adams and husband Alvin; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service celebrating her life will be held on Friday, October 26 at 10 am at Klein Funeral Home, 14711 FM 1488 Rd. Magnolia, TX 77354.
A reception in memory of Cathy will be held at her brother's home immediately after the memorial service.
