Rachel Nedley Is Dead at 68
Rachel Nedley, 68, of 1636 South Ave., a resident of Missoula since 1961, died Tuesday in a local hospital.
She was born July 30, 1899, in Texas. She came to Missoula in 1961 from Gardiner.
Survivors besides the widower, Loran Nedley, include three daughters, Mrs. William Bremer and Mrs. Dorothy Williams, both of Yuma, Ariz., and Mrs. Lamar Mezza of Las Vegas, Nev.; four sisters, Mrs. Irene Zumwalt of Gardiner, Mrs. Inez Hines and Mrs. Mary Putty of Lubbock, Tex., and Mrs. Clara Dickinson of Austin, Tex.; her mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Stewart of Lubbock; five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are pending at Squire-Simmons-Carr Mortuary.
Funeral services will be at 3:30 p.m. Friday in the Squire-Simmons-Carr Rose Chapel. Burial will be in Missoula Cemetery.
