      Charley "Chuck" Edward Prather
      January 10, 1951 - November 18, 2020

On November 18, 2020, Charley "Chuck" Edward Prather, loved husband, father, brother and grandfather was called home at the age of 69.

Charley was born January 10, 1951 in Roswell, New Mexico. He married the love of his life, Geretha Bryant on June 7, 1969 in Monahans. He has been a resident of San Angelo since 2012. Charley was the Shop Foreman for Randall Motors for seven years before retiring on September 30, 2020. Charley was an avid Sunday NASCAR fan, enjoyed an occasional relaxing round of golf, but most of all he enjoyed afternoon rides on his Harley. He was a member of the Reconcilers Motorcycle Ministry and attended Freedom Fellowship Church. Charley was faithful to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and spent his life making sure he shared God's word with everyone around him. His family was the light of his life. He was such a family man always finding time to make each of them feel special.

Survivors include Geretha, his wife of 51 years; two daughters, Michelle Widdess and husband Mike of Canton, Georgia, and Chasity Pritz and husband Robert of Wall; a sister, Patty Drake of Monahans; four grandchildren Kelcee Widdess of Norfolk, Virginia, Shaylee Widdess of Canton, Georgia, Abby Pritz and Kirkland Pritz both of Wall; one nephew Brady Prather and wife Lisa of Odessa. Charley was preceded in death by his parents, Buck and Evelyn Prather.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made to Freedom Fellowship Church.
