  Obituary: Richelle Diana CasteBlanco, 29, of Corpus Christi died on Friday, Jan. 23, 2009. She was born in Corpus Christi to Harry Layton and Diana White on Nov. 20, 1979. She received a Palomar education in the study of phlebotomy and enjoyed working in the Hospital and Health care profession. Richelle was preceded in death by her great-grandmother, Eunice Ferguson; grandfathers, Harry Layton Sr. and Richard Gross Sr. Richelle is survived by her husband, Josh CasteBlanco; her father, Harry Layton Jr. (Monica); her mother, Diana White (Jeff); sister, Veronica Lowry (Todd); stepbrother, Mike Alto; two nephews, Kristopher and Matthew Lowry; two grandmothers, Nell Layton and Audria Johnston (Ralph); one sister-in-law, Jessica Blanco-Busam (Michael); three uncles, Floyd Layton (Charlie), Michael Layton (Terry), and Richard Gross (Sarah); three aunts, Cassandra Carte (Philip), Debbie Salge (Robert), and Denise Salinas (Mario); and numerous cousins and friends. Richelle had a great passion for saving pets and bringing them home to call them her own; her special pets were Buttercup, Oreo, Flower and Zombie. Funeral services were conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 26, in the Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed at St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery in Violet.
