    • Obituary:

      Charlie Vandiver Rites Set Friday

      GORMAN - Funeral for Charlie Dean Vandiver, 89, of 312 W. 37th in Amarillo, a former Gorman resident, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Church of Christ in Gorman.

      Andy Moore, minister, will officiate. Burial will be in Gorman Cemetery with Higginbotham Funeral Home in charge.

      Mr. Vandiver died at 3:10 p.m. Tuesday in Amarillo.

      His wife, Fannie, died in 1966.

      Survivors include three sons, Curtis and Chester, both of Amarillo, and Carl of Attapulgus, Ga.; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
