  Obituary: Ruben James Salinas November 26, 1970 - June 27, 2024 Ruben James Salinas, 53 passed away June 27, 2024 in Bryan, Texas. Ruben was a decorated Navy veteran, whom served our country during Operation Desert Storm. Ruben is survived by one son Richard Shirley-Salinas, his mother Cecilia Spilde, 2 brothers Mason Galicia and Lee Spilde, and 1 sister Robin Konecny. Ruben had 5 nieces and 1 nephew. He also had numerous close friends whom were his extended family. There will be a celebration of his life with his close friends and family on Friday, July 12th at 10 am at The Beer Joint. On Saturday, July 13, 2024, he will be taken to rest in his family's plot in Freer Texas, Campos Cemetery. Memorial funds will graciously be accepted during the celebration of life.
