Emma B. McDonnell died Sunday, Sept. 25, 1994, at Walter Reed Army Medical Center.
She was the beloved wife of Lt. Col. John F. McDonnell, USAF (Ret.); devoted mother of the honorable Robert F. McDonnell of Virginia Beach, Nancy E. Naisawald of Lynchburg, Eileen R. Reinaman of North Stafford, Va., Dr. Kenneth P. McDonnell, Travis Air Force Base, Calif., Maureen C. McDonnell, Chicago, Ill.; sister of Edward C. Meiller, Elmhurst, Ill., Paul O. Meiller of Haywood, Calif., Rev. Albert R. Meiller of Dayton, Ohio, Charles R. Meiller, Green Valley, Ariz., Theodore J. Meiller and Ruth C. Fridel, both of Bryan, Texas; also survived by 11 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A mass of Christian burial will be offered today at 10:30 a.m. at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, Alexandria. Interment will be in Arlington National Cemetery at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions be made to Emma B. McDonnell Memorial Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 47, Mt. Vernon, Va. 22121.
