Notes - During the Civil War (1861-65), Eugene Onezime Vincent was conscripted into Company D of the 1st Regiment Louisiana Heavy Artillery on October 31, 1862. Eugene died in the Battle of Vicksburg at the Free School Hospital in Vicksburg, Mississippi on December 3, 1862 at the age of 34. He was the father of Margarite E. Vincent, William Anderson Vincent, and John H. Vincent.
