  Obituary: Mrs. Jennie L. Martin Dies Tuesday at Ida Mrs. Jennie Lee Martin, 54, lifelong resident of Ida, died at her residence at 9 p.m. Tuesday of a heart attack. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Mattie Lee Terry of Ida, and Mrs. Mable Gardner of Shreveport; two sons, Newton Martin of St. Martinsville, and M/Sgt. Scott Martin in the Air Force in Selma, Ala.; also seven grandsons and two granddaughters; one sister, Mrs. Lillie Mae Sparks of Ida. Funeral arrangements in charge of Hanna Funeral Home of Vivian are incomplete. The body will be at the family residence in Ida. (Published in The Shreveport Journal on April 2, 1952) Obituary: Funeral service for Mrs. Jennie B. Martin, 55, will be held Thursday at 2:30 p.m. in the First Baptist church in Ida. The Rev. Fant, pastor of the church, will officiate. Burial will be in Bethsaida cemetery, Ida. Mrs. Martin, a life-long resident of Ida, died at her residence at 9 p.m. Tuesday of a heart attack. Survivers include two daughters, Mrs. J. F. Terry, of Ida, and Mrs. J. H. Gardener, of Shreveport; two sons, Robert N. Martin, of St. Martinsville, and M/Sgt.
