Jackson LeBleu, Chloe Native, Dies
Jackson LeBleu, 60, World War I veteran and a native of Chloe community, died at 4:30 p.m. yesterday at the veterans' hospital in Alexandria.
The body is at the home of a brother, Pascal LeBleu, on Goos boulevard. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Catholic Church of the Immaculate Conception.
Burial in charge of the Hixson funeral home will be in Graceland cemetery.
Born on February 11, 1890, Mr. LeBleu was a carpenter by trade. He had resided around Lake Charles for his entire life and served with the army for three years during World War I.
Survivors include six brothers, Pascal, Joseph, Sullivan, Lee and Clem LeBleu, all of Lake Charles, Skeem LeBleu of Iowa, La.; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Daigle of Sulphur and Mrs. Rose Daigle of Lake Charles, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Rosary services will be conducted at the LeBleu home on Goos boulevard tonight.
