Notes - Obituary:
Jefferson David Lognion, 47, died at 11:45 p.m. Thursday at his home, 806 Gulf street, of a heart attack.
He operated Jeff's Auto Service here. A native of Jennings, he had been a resident of Lake Charles for the past 35 years.
Funeral services will be held at 9:10 a.m. Saturday, at the Burke-Hammer funeral home followed by a Requiem Mass at 9:30 in St. Margaret's Catholic church. Burial will be in the Lorraine cemetery in Hayes.
A rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Margie LeBleu Lognion; one son, Robert David Lognion; his father, Gilbert Lognion of Lake Charles; four brothers, Leroy, Alvin, Joseph, and Gilbert Lognion Jr., all of Lake Charles and Euclid Lognion of Beaumont, Texas; two sisters, Mrs. Lucy Jeanice of Orange, Texas, and Mrs. Laura Reeves of Gretna, La.
