  Obituary: Funeral services for Evelyn M. Hopkins, 74, of Many, LA, will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Richard Norsworthy officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Friday, August 16, 2019, at 5:00 PM at Warren Meadows Funeral Home, Many, LA. Evelyn M. Hopkins was born on Wednesday, January 10, 1945 in Zwolle, LA. She passed away on Friday, August 9, 2019 at Sabine Retirement & Rehabilitation Center in Many, LA. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Eugene Tate and Marry Jo (Ebarb) Tate and her brother, Joseph Tate. She is survived by her sons: Rodney Hopkins of Tyler, TX, Lance Hopkins of Many, LA and Landon Hopkins of Many, LA; sisters: Jeanete Hawkins of Shreveport, LA, Beth Tate Newton of Bossier City, LA and Mildred Cannon of Van, TX; brothers: Albert Tate of Shreveport, LA, Charles Tate of Arkansas and William Tate of Killeen, TX; four grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
