Notes - Obituary:
VIVIAN - Funeral services will be held today at 3 p.m. in the Ida Baptist Church for Thomas J. Sparks, 73, who died Monday in a Shreveport hospital after a lengthy illness.
The Rev. Waymon Swain will officiate and burial will be in Bethsadia Cemetery under the direction of Hanner Funeral Home.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. B. W. Haywood of Shreveport, and Mrs. L. W. Coon of Calhoun; seven grandchildren; a brother, J. C. Sparks of New Orleans; a sister, Mrs. A. N. Atkins of Shreveport.
