  Obituary: WIGGINS, MS - Dr. William Ronald Gardner, DVM, 59, passed away Friday, August 31, 2001 in Dawsonville, GA after a brief illness. Visitation will be held at the Osborn Funeral Home on Monday, September 3, 2001 from 5 until 7 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 10 a.m., Tuesday, September 4, 2001 in the chapel of Osborn Funeral Home. Officiating will be Dr. T. Floyd Davis, pastor of Woodridge Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Forest Park Cemetery. Dr. Gardner was a native of Shreveport, LA and was a resident of Wiggins, MS. He was a graduate of Byrd High School, Louisiana State University and Auburn University. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Homer Gardner. Dr. Gardner is survived by two sons, William Nathan Gardner and his wife, Roxanne of Woodville, MS, Swayze Walker Gardner and his wife Laquita of Ruston, LA; two grandchildren, William Cole Gardner and Morgan Ashley Gardner; his mother, Mrs. Mable Martin Gardner of Shreveport; two brothers, Homer R. Gardner and his wife Sandra of Vicksburg, MS, John R. Gardner and his wife, Mary of Shreveport; and a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be John Gressley, David Henry, David L. Jones, Sheryl G. Lawton, William S. Martin, Jr., J. Milton McClure, Larry Terry and Paul Terry. The family request that memorials be made to the building fund, Woodridge Baptist Church, 850 E.
