  Obituary: Michael Glen Mixon 1936 - 2013 Michael Glen Mixon was born on September 25, 1936 and passed away on November 4, 2013. Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Farmerville 1st Baptist Church. Visitation will be Wednesday 5-8 at the church. Burial will follow services at Bethsaida Cemetery in Ida, LA under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA Michael was a Retired National Guardsmen working 30 years with Government services and served 4 years in the United States Navy. He was a resident of Farmerville, LA. Michael is survived by his wife of 46 years Ruth Mixon of Farmerville; his children, Fred Michael Mixon and wife Jo of Mountain View, AR; Stewart Wayman Mixon of Farmerville,LA; Sharon Lynn Mixon of Sunderland, MA; grandchild, KLoe Lane Mixon Pallbearers Malcolm Echols, Charles Post, Zack Holly, Kim Crwford, Richie Lawson, Michael Butler, Huel Jones, Jeff Brackman.
