    • Obituary:

      Funeral services for Mrs. Marie L. Bumgardner, 68, of Benton, were to be at 2 p.m. today at the Rose-Neath Funeral Home chapel in Bossier City. She died Saturday night at her residence.

      The Rev. Avon W. Cavanaugh, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Benton was to officiate, assisted by the Rev. T. R. McKinnon, pastor of the Red River Baptist Church. Burial was to be in the Red River Cemetery near Benton.

      Pallbearers were to be John R. Birdwell, Norwood Dalrymple, Jr. Ben Bounds and Laster Bundy.
