Leyon V. Hardin
March 13, 1925 - May 22, 1993
FRANKLIN - Memorial services for Leyon V. Hardin, 68, of Franklin will be at 10 a.m. today at Shilo Baptist Church in Franklin.
The Rev. C.E. Barnett will officiate.
Mr. Hardin died Saturday morning in Olin E. Teague Veteran Administration Hospital in Temple.
He was born in and was a lifelong resident of Franklin. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of Disabled American Veterans. Mr. Hardin was also a lifelong member of VFW Post 1907 in Normangee.
He was baptized in the hospital on May 16.
Survivors include his wife, Flora Bell Hardin of Franklin; a son, Charles Smith of Humble; four daughters, Kathy Steagall of Humble, Wanda Alexandria and Mary Hines, both of Franklin, and Betty Vance of Staples; a sister; three brothers; 12 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
