Funeral Services Held Wednesday For R. A. Breland
Rufus Albert Breland of Navasota, 64, died at his residence at 5 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20. Mr. Breland was born March 14, 1903 at Keith.
Funeral services were held Friday, Nov. 22 at 10:30 a.m. from the chapel of Scott Funeral Home with Rev. E. H. Crouch, pastor of the Memorial Baptist Church, officiating. Interment was in the Oakland Cemetery.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Lena Breland of Navasota; two daughters, Mrs. Doris Welser and Mrs. Billie Arnold of Red Oak; three sons, Emmett Brisbon of Phoenix, Arizona, Ross Loen Brisbon of Waxahachie and John Bob Brisbon of Dallas; one sister, Mrs. W. N. Lanier of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; two brothers, C. C. Breland of Navasota and L. C. Breland of Austin.
Pallbearers were Bob Brunson, P. V. Worbington, Eugene Nobles, Floyd Nobles, Vernon Nobles and Will Abke.
