  Obituary: BRISBON JOSEPHINE V. Passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 14, 2015, age 86, formerly of Phoenix, AZ. Josephine leaves behind a loving family, her daughter, Linda West of McCandless, PA; her son, Emmitt E. Brisbon, Jr. and his wife, Patricia of Worcester, MA; her daughter, Edwinna Johnson of Phoenix, AZ; and her stepdaughter, Carla Maney of Texas. She had 14 grandchildren; ten great- grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Josephine was born in Toneless, AZ in 1928. Throughout her life, she had an artistic streak making various crafts and jewelry. Being an entrepreneur and an excellent sales person, she ran home businesses selling her creations as well as Tupperware and Avon. She and her husband, Emmitt Brisbon (deceased), ran a neighborhood grocery store for several years before she became a member of the American Express mail room team, retiring in 1994. In 2004, she moved to Pittsburgh to live with her daughter, Linda's family. She loved dogs, old movies, Elvis and Frank Sinatra. A celebration of her life will be held in Arizona in May.
