      Rodney Greer, 64, of Bryan, passed away at his home Sunday, November 13, 2011. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, November 18, at Smetana Cemetery under the direction of Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan.

    • Obituary:

      Rodney Greer, 64, of Bryan, passed away at his home Sunday, November 13, 2011. A graveside service is planned for 2 p.m. Friday, November 18, at Smetana Cemetery.

      Rodney was born December 2, 1946 in Bryan to Milton and Dorothy Greer. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed spending his time fishing and hunting. Rodney was known for being a very loving person and devoted father.

      He was preceded in death by his mother.

      Survivors include his son, Travis Greer of College Station; father, Milton Nathaniel Greer; sisters Sheryl Lewis of Austin, Peggy Biggs and Cindy Parker, both of Houston; numerous nieces and nephew; and his partner in crime, Vanessa "V" English of Bryan.

      In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice Brazos Valley at, 502 W. 26th Street, Bryan, Texas 77803.
