Amelia E. Yelencich
LAKE CITY, Tenn. - Amelia E. Yelencich, 82, formerly of Richmond, died Sunday, April 26, 1987.
She was born Feb. 26, 1905, to Joseph and Mary Jackovich Brozovich in Illinois. She married Albert Yelencich Oct. 9, 1921, in St. David, Ill.
Mrs. Yelencich was a member of St. Augustine Altar Sodality.
She is survived by four sons, Frank of Lake City, Joseph of Harrison, Albert of Richmond, and Ralph of Miami; two daughters, Mary Ann Hagelberg of Sarasota, Fla., and Barbara Knight of Canadian, Texas; one brother, William Brozovich of Joliet, Ill.; sisters, Helen Sikich of Albuquerque, N.M., and Victoria Brenc of Joliet; 24 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; brothers, Frank and Joseph, and sister, Bernarda Polich.
Services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday in the Conger-Rewalt Funeral Home, Richmond, and 10 a.m. in St. Augustine Catholic Church. The Rev. Leo Broderick, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery.
Visiting is from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 1 to 9 p.m. Thursday. A rosary will be said at 8 p.m. Thursday.
