Notes - Obituary:
JAMES E. LOVETT
DEQUINCY (LA) - Funeral services for James Edward Lovett, 78, of Singer, will be at 2 p.m. Monday, August 5, 1996, in Church of Christ.
Glen Westmoreland will officiate. Burial will be in Birdnest Cemetery in Gillis under direction of Hixson Funeral Home of DeRidder (LA).
Visitation will be from 8 a.m. - 7 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home and from 9 p.m. Sunday in the church.
Mr. Lovett died Friday, Aug. 2, 1996, in his residence.
A native of Gillis, he had lived in Singer for 25 years. He was a truck driver.
Survivors are his wife, Nelda Lovett; two daughters, Shirley Kelly of DeQuincy and Rose Bordelon of Ville Platte; one brother, George Lovett of Lake Charles; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
